Firmhouse and Enactus EUR work together to teach students essential skills when starting a social enterprise!
Enactus EUR is partnering with Firmhouse Venture Lab to provide a social start-up curriculum. By Firmhouse Venture Lab providing workshops, materials and software tools, the aim is to accelerate the organization’s members’ learning curves while building businesses and becoming entrepreneurs.
“We’re excited to work with Enactus in this way. The goal of this collaboration is to enable Enactus members worldwide to benefit from our decade-long experience while servicing incubators. We start in Rotterdam and will empower the local team to spread our knowledge to other chapters.”, says Robbert van Geldrop, entrepreneur and Chief Venturing Officer at Firmhouse.
The curriculum itself is open to those who want to learn about social entrepreneurship and what it entails. four workshops will take place on a weekly basis every Wednesday in October. The dates are as follows:
- 9th of October 17:00 Business modelling
- 16th of October 17:00 Lean start-up
- 23th of October 17:00 Customer understanding
- 30th of October 17:00 Experimentation
All workshops will take place at Erasmus University Rotterdam. Vice-chair of Enactus EUR Romy Romeyn says “with this partnership our social start-ups can develop
